First test drives successfully completed

Supermoto pilot Jan Deitenbach has successfully completed the first test drives with his new Husqvarna despite considerable restrictions due to the lockdown. In addition, he was able to hold the first driver’s course with the JD44 RidersFactory last weekend.

Deitenbach had been preparing very intensively for the 2021 season in his own small fitness studio throughout the winter. In addition, his team RAVENOL Bergos Racing meticulously built a new racing machine. Unfortunately, test drives in Italy originally scheduled for March had to be canceled due to the new quarantine regulations. Nevertheless, he was at least able to cycle the first few meters on his motocross training bike, since the local club in Geseke was allowed to open its small area.

At the End of March we finally went to the first test with the racing bike. From the very first second, Jan Deitenbach felt at home again, set decent lap times and even covered a complete race distance. At the next test, the new Mototech chassis was optimally adjusted with his technician and further progress was made.

At the beginning of April he was allowed to complete his first course of the year as a coach. The event in Baden-Württemberg, which has been fully booked for weeks, was rated as a complete success by all those involved. However, the implementation of further appointments at other locations currently depends on local regulations.

“After such a long time, you’re always a bit nervous about how riding works,” says Jan. “But I’ve obviously prepared well and the new bike is really great. Thanks to all partners who contribute to this!”

The preparations and initial tests were also followed closely on social media. The company’s own pages on Facebook and Instagram now have over 11,000 qualified followers, with over 150,000 gross contacts in the first quarter of 21 alone.

The start of the official racing season is planned for the beginning of June due to the general situation. Sufficient time for further tests and training. And of course for son Fynn, who has been completing the small family since the End of February.
